Are you the kind of person who always asks if others are okay? On a long trip, do you bring more water, food and a first aid kit, just in case someone needs those things? We all need help to support ourselves at work. It gives a supportive shoulder, often behind the scenes, that keeps us healthy, providing child care, contributing financial help and other types of support to keep the movement healthy and sustainable.
Investigator:
Are you a voracious reader, even books and reports that many of your friends think are too detailed and crooked? Do most of the sentences end with a question mark? These are the main characteristics of the researchers. They expose problems and solutions. Professionally, are often scientists, journalists and researchers. As citizens, they discover hidden truths to help keep their communities informed.
Communicator:
Do you like to tell stories? Do you think a picture is worth a thousand words? It is essential to know what is wrong and how things could be better, but we also need people who can share that knowledge in a convincing and accessible way. Communicators are the writers, artists, filmmakers, bloggers and teachers we need to help spread the word.
Builder:
If you really enjoy getting your hands dirty, you just might be a builder. These are the people who are making a better future real – from designing gardens for the community to solar panels to whole chemicals. They find ways to do things that do not pollute people or the planet. Builders do not wait for solutions to arrive, but create them.
