In the current society, there is a significant need for the individual expression and autonomy. Do we have autonomy? In this edition, we are going to talk about the Citizen Stewardship and Fascism.
The Facts
In 1920 Edward Bernays the creator of the ADVERTISEMENT wrote:
- “We must manipulate the crowds to associate products to the satisfaction of their desires, making them docile”. Hence, in the media we are constantly motivated to express our individualism through the purchase of goods and services, as per our personality. This shows that we are always in front of a brainwash process, that distorts our individuality and autonomy.
And if we analyze the social sectors such as the politics:
- Why can only the congress make the laws?
- Why cannot the citizens themselves make the laws?
- Why does the president take so important decisions like going to the war without consulting us?
In the health care:
- Why can they make us an examination before going to the doctor?
But it must be the doctor who prescribes us a medical order to then go back to the doctor with the results, making us lose time and health. This shows that the society is designed starting from the supposition that the citizens are unaware, and hence, they must be guided by exclusive groups.
Exclusive groups that should be taking care of us, but who also let others leverage their authority to the detriment of the majority, twisting in an imposed mafia, a legal mafia. And the current educational system doesn’t help. Because it nurtures docile citizens for these groups with authority, instead of nurturing intelligent and sensitive people, that is what we need.
One of the most striking expressions of the human being selfishness is:
- The continuous imposition of the opinion of some person, or a group of people, about the behavior of the other human beings, that is the fascism.
Therefore, these exclusive groups take the role of the parents and, to the citizens they give us the role of the children. Hence, the president takes decisions which don’t consult with the people, implying our money, our life, and even our beliefs. The congressmen make laws that free them from blame, while the rest of the people must assume the consequences of their acts as well as ours, they earn more money while the others must tighten their belts. And the list goes on.
We are all like this, we want to impose our opinion over the others. That is, deep inside we are fascist. It is time to recognize that problem and solve it. It is time to work on the fascism, from the root. We discussed this issue of the human being under another angle in the previous article:

Solution
We are in the knowledge era, we can search for information over the Internet and make the analysis on our own. We don’t need to go to college, or a library, to reach the knowledge, since we can find it directly from our houses using the computer, reading or watching videos.
On the other hand, we understand that a thorough knowledge of it is complicated because it requires much time and effort. There are the specialists who dedicate themselves to knowing the finest details of each knowledge area. If we ignore some subject, we must let us guide by a specialist in the matter, the most logical thing to do.
It is also important to highlight that someone with a poor education is not able to assume his/her stewardship, regardless of the age of that person. A man can be 40 years old, but if he hasn’t learned to respect life as a supreme value and hence, the equality between the human beings, he wouldn’t carry arms, because in his heart he is a potential killer.
Therefore, we must formulate the new society, reaching to a middle point that allows us to assume our stewardship, in which we take the consequences of our decisions. Plus an institutional tutoring that is transparent and supervised by the people.
Understanding this problem is absolutely necessary because we continually see that we repeat again and again the mistake of falling into this fascism. It is also clear that we need a new educational model, Ten principles of the New Circular Education, in which it is taught that the stewardship includes assuming the consequences of our decisions.
Example of Stewardship
With the right educational model, a citizen should reach the following stewardship:
13 years old = Stewardship to receive the punishments for the crimes committed.
16 years old = Stewardship except for the medications, prostitution, arms, and drugs: alcohol, cigars, and so on.
18 years = Stewardship except for strong drugs and arms.
21 years old= Complete Stewardship. At the age of 21 years old the brain development is over.
Notes
We are not talking about promoting the consumption of strong drugs because they along with other conducts are not appropriate for the natural society functioning, they shouldn’t be furthered under any public form. Yet, its consumption must be allowed for whoever wants to do it and can make it with due control and previous notice of:
- The consequences that the drug consumption may have.
But the decision must be completely in the hands of the individual. The war to the drugs hasn’t worked out, it is the truth.
In an ideal society, there is no need of arms, nor police force, because everyone would be the policeman of themselves, but the reality is that:
- The citizens developed with the correct educational system must have the power to defend themselves from the ones who have a poor education (lack of internal assimilation of the natural human values).
Effects
In this way, we may consult an artificial medical intelligence on the Internet, about our aches without needing a doctor, and requiring our medical diagnosis on our own. And then we consult with the doctor if we really need it.
Creating our own rules, and asking the society to approve it.
We will kill off the drug traffic business and the corruption it produces, we save money and increase the incomes with this new tax.
Summing it all up:
- We must recognize that we are born as fascist, and we educate ourselves to correct that reality. Creating a society of mindful adults will make us more independent and free. Hence, more responsible of our lives.
It is time to leave behind the childhood and claim our stewardship.
